Cristina Maggiora studied design and metalsmithing at the Cleveland Institute of Art from 1979 to 1984.
In 1986 she moved to New York City to work in the fashion industry, designing a jewelry collection represented by LP Studio on 5th avenue, and for Donna Karan and Rober Lee Morris.
In 1989 she also started designing websites, applying her interest in graphic design to what was at the time a new field. Her work has evolved along with the amazing development of the internet as a medium, and has kept pace with all the new developments and challenges. She has a lot of experience in designing for artists, arts and environmental organizations and non-profits, as well as small businesses; providing well designed, engaging, professional web sites.
